The Baleno RS transmission system will feature a 5-speed manual gearbox. A CVT automatic gearbox variant is also speculated.

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS mileage figure with the 1.0-litre engine is expected to cross the 25 km mark. The 1.2-litre dual-jet petrol engine version of the international edition can deliver up to 22 km on average.

Baleno RS is expected to be launched Indian market by end-2016, probably during the festive season, between June and October. This amazing hatch from the Maruti Suzuki stable will offer competition to cars like Volkswagen Polo GT TSI, Fiat Abarth Punto and Hyundai Elite i20.
